Time to start tuning season 2010

Changes from last year (that can affect tune )
- Smaller Pulley. F1 should spin 70k now
- Bigger IC, front mounted
- 4L80E tranny with vigiliante 5k stall. Will se how much it will stall in my car.
and probably I will need bigger injectors.

Some minor things then It will be test drive and emission test then the Procharger will be mounted.

Is TP5 the way to go now? or is TP4 still the most popular with you code59 guys ?

Personally, I'd start moving to TP5. While it isn't 100% in terms of development, I find it easier to use.

Ok, I'll try TP5 and se how I think about it.

Need to solve VSS signal problem before I can take tha car for a test drive.
Speedo shows approx 150 times to much now

But made some changes in VE and crank to run delay and it idles real good now...

First drive done! no procharger.

Seem to run a little bit richer this year? Maybe the trans/convertor that does it? or lack of vss signal to ECM?

Will compare some dataloggs some day. Right now I need to fix my speedo so I can drive it some more and hopefully pass emission test. I've ordered a DRAC unit hopefully it will work.

After modifying the DRAC(VSS to my gear ratio/tire size I hooked it up and it works! Pseedo and ECM get the correct mph (had to set 4000ppm in bin) but it works.

Will now hook up Cruisecontrol and test it.

Then I was thinking of using my TCC output to control Charcoil canister instead of EGR, since EGR is not easy to control the conversions/calculations seems to be a bit "misleading".....

Crusie Control tested and works, then I was trying a WOT run but car refused to shift and EGT/WBO2 died .... Got home in 2'gear and found a blown fuse
I used same fuse to 2xWBO2 (2x5amps), EGT, and TCI (10AMP) and the fuse was only 10AMP The good thing is the car ran good up to 6500rpm too bad I didnt get any WBO2 readings....

Well new fuse is in and thicker wires. Charcoil is moved to TCC control will test it soon.

One thing I noticed last drive is when TCC locks the car is "chugging" alot, but I guess its a tuning thing since rpm drops abit more with new tranny/converter than before.....

Just installed TP5 on the laptop will test it this week, found a wierd bug? in TP4 se post about it.....

Next thing is to pass emission...always a nervous thing...Since we're not allowed to increase power by more than 10% and all smog things should be in place.....Since I removed AIR/EGR and have a big engine/cam and only have a temporary cat on my car its very depending on the guy who works...

Anyway a 3.4" pulley and new belts are ready

Oh, moved the Charcoil to tcc output and it seems to work...

But still have some tuning to do when TCC is locking.....

Some updates.

- New convertor doeslt like to be locked under 2200 rpm, makes the car "hesitate" or it fells more like the drivetrain, maybe 5k stall is to much?

- Put on one Catco cat and connected PCV to TB, just to pass emission.
Idle AFR same, driving 30-50mph AFR 2points lower.
